Funnels separatory cylindrical - with SJ stopper and glass SJ stopcock
A cylindrical separatory funnel is a piece of laboratory glassware used in liquid-liquid extractions to separate (partition) the components of a mixture into two immiscible solvent phases of different densities. Our separating funnel takes the cylindrical shape. It has a plastic stopper at the top and stopcock at the bottom. Our separating funnels are made from Simax borosilicate glass and their stopcocks or are made from glass or PTFE. They have printed scale on the body showing the volume.
We allways check glass quality, dimensions, optical clarity, printing and volume of the separatory funnels.
