Condensers - Liebig - SJ cone at the bottom
The Liebig condenser or straight condenser is a piece of laboratory equipment, specifically a condenser consisting of a straight glass tube surrounded by a water jacket.
A Liebig condenser is used to cool and condense a gas back to a liquid, often as part of the process of chemical distillation.
We offer different lengths from 160 mm to 1000 mm. For production we use Simax borosilicate glass tubes. We allways check glass quality, dimensions and optical clarity.
