Flasks volumetric with SJ and plastic stopper, class A
A volumetric flask (measuring flask or graduated flask) is a piece of laboratory apparatus, a type of laboratory flask, calibrated to contain a precise volume at a certain temperature. Volumetric flasks are used for precise dilutions and preparation of standard solutions. Our flasks are pear-shaped, with a flat bottom, and made of borosilicate glass. The flask's mouth is fitted with a SJ joint to accommodate a plastic stopper. The neck of volumetric flasks is elongated and narrow with an ground ring graduation marking. Our flasks are class A.
For production, we use high quality borosilicate glass Simax. We offer clear and amber variants produced acc. to ISO 1042 standard. Each flask contains batch number and is supplied with certificate.
We allways check glass quality, dimensions, optical clarity, volume and printing of the volumetric flasks.
