Funnels separatory conical acc. to Squibb - with SJ stopper and teflon valve
A separatory funnel, also known as a separating funnel,, is a piece of laboratory glassware used in liquid-liquid extractions to separate (partition) the components of a mixture into two immiscible solvent phases of different densities. Our Squib separating funnel takes the shape of a cone with a hemispherical end. It has a plastic stopper at the top and stopcock or valve at the bottom. Our separating funnels are made from high quality borosilicate glass and their stopcocks or valves are made from PTFE.
We allways check glass quality, dimensions, optical clarity and printing of the separatory funnels.
