Dropping Funnels cylindrical - with teflon SJ stopcock, with pressure equalizing tube
A dropping funnel is a type of laboratory glassware used to transfer liquids. They are fitted with a stopcock which allows the flow to be controlled. Dropping funnels are useful for adding reagents slowly, i.e. drop-wise. Dropping funnels are usually constructed with a ground glass joint at the bottom, which allows the funnel to fit snugly onto a round bottom flask.
Our dropping funnels are made from Simax borosilicate glass and their stopcocks are made from glass or PTFE. They have printed scale on the body showing the volume.
We allways check glass quality, dimensions, optical clarity, printing and volume of the separatory funnels.
